Opening of Balkan Stream in Serbia postponed


The opening of the "Balkan Stream" in Serbia has been postponed until January 1. Earlier it was planned for December 30, notes TASS.

As reported by Tanug, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will open the gas pipeline on January 1 at 6:00. The reasons for the postponement of the ceremony were not specified.

Russian gas flows through the Turkish Stream gas pipeline through the Black Sea, Turkey and Bulgaria. In Serbia, the pipeline is called the "Balkan Stream". In the future, it will be brought to Hungary, and then to Austria.

Now Russian gas goes to the republic through Ukraine.
