A man was rescued after being caught by a lighthouse when he fell from his boat off Queensland, Australia.

Emergency services were searching for the man when they found his 13-meter boat between the northern tip of Bribie Island and Caloundra, according to the Guardian.
His engine was still in operation and the authorities started extensive investigations in the surrounding sea area.
The experienced sailor, David Simpson, told the Channel Nine's Today show that he fell from his boat when he was hit by a strong wave.
About 30 people took part in the search for him. Finally, the 64-year-old man was found in a lighthouse where he had climbed to be saved.
To reach the point he swam about 2.5 kilometers.
