The Chrome 89 update will drop support for x86 processors that do not support Supplemental Streaming SIMD Extensions 3 (SSE3) commands. This will mainly affect platforms up to 2005 release. It is noted that if a PC based on a Celeron M chip is still possible to upgrade to the current Windows 10, then it will not receive a new Chrome.

Chrome 87 and above users will receive end of support messages in the coming weeks. Google's unpopular measure will only affect Windows.

Earlier it was reported that Google will pay about $ 4 million in a sex discrimination case.
