A flock of birds got in the way of the Boeing 777F of Turkish Cargo (the cargo division of Turkish Airlines), heading from Istanbul to Almaty. On takeoff, the plane collided with birds and was forced to make an emergency landing, reports Hurriyet.


The liner took off at 08:40 am on January 3, but after a couple of minutes, the crew reported a collision with a flock of birds and requested an emergency landing. Half an hour later, the aircraft safely landed at the Ataturk airport, having previously dropped fuel over the Sea of ​​Marmara.

The aircraft received serious damage to the nose cone and air pressure receivers incidents.
